Cathodic Protection Station Tvertsa-900 is used to protect the underground metallic facilities affected by the soil corrosion accompanied by the unfavorable stray currents. SKZ Tvertsa-900 controls negative potential uninterruptedly at the surface of a protected object. The unit maintains the necessary potential difference, as well as records the key indicators of voltage, current and potential and then transmits the data with the help of a built-in GSM-modem.

Design

Tvertsa-900 is a power converter placed in a protected metal cabinet which hides the station from outer impacts. The body of the station is made from aluminum sections being a natural cooler. To provide additional cooling for the station, there is a fan which switches on automatically at the temperature increase in a power section which is controlled by a special sensor. Cathodic Protection Station Tvertsa-900 is designed to have automatic control which provides automatic maintenance of the defined values for voltage and potential. The defined values can be remotely changed by GSM-channel or a control button located at the station’s body.
